When we live in stress, our brain is in an overly analytical state. As we experience the hormones of stress, cortisol levels go up, and melatonin levels go down. This keeps us from experiencing complete sleep cycles and leaves the body unable to fully repair and regenerate.
Gamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA) is an amino acid and neurotransmitter naturally found in the body. It inhibits excessive firing of neurons, which produces a sense of calm. GABA supports the body’s natural mechanism for quieting the mind and helps combat the effects of stress and anxiety.

Vitamin B6
B6 is needed for neuron transmission in the brain. It aids the body by converting the amino acid tryptophan into serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps to regulate levels of the sleep hormone melatonin, as well as promote relaxation.

Magnesium plays an important role in regulating neurotransmitters and muscle relaxation. It also promotes calming of brain neurons, helping to initiate sleep and enhance overall sleep quality.

Helps to increase brain levels of serotonin, dopamine, and gamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA), an important inhibitory neurotransmitter. It has also been known to shift the brain towards a predominance of alpha waves, which are associated with relaxation.

Chamomile Flower Extract
Helps to reduce stress and anxiety, promoting an overall feeling of relaxation. In addition, it has been known to improve insomnia.

An amino acid that the body converts into 5-HTP (5-hydroxy-tryptophan), which is used to make serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin is involved in mood, appetite, and sleep. Once serotonin is made, the brain is able to convert it into melatonin, the sleep-inducing hormone.

Melatonin is a natural hormone that is made by the pineal gland and works together with your body’s circadian rhythm to regulate the sleep-wake cycle. Melatonin is an effective antioxidant which scavenges free radicals and up-regulates several antioxidant enzymes.
